Mobile Lifts

Unidex, Inc. carries a variety of mobile lift positioners to elevate and secure equipment and personnel. All of our lifts are equipped with motors powered by rechargeable batteries and feature durable welded construction and powder coating. Custom options are available for fixtures, work holders, and load engagement devices. Fixed front and swivel rear casters and ergonomic handles make it easy to move lifts from place to place.

PE Standard Duty
The PE Standard Duty Lift Workstation is a compact and quick lift that can support loads up to 200 lbs. for standard light-duty applications. It has a 60 in. lift stroke.

PE Heavy Duty
The PE Heavy-Duty Workstation can accommodate loads up to 500 lbs. It has a 60 in. lift stroke and can operate at multiple lift speeds.

PE Shaft Handling Lift and Workstation
The PE Shaft Handling Lift features a locking shaft head and load capacity of 150 lbs. The lift features a ratcheting manual crank that allows the shaft to tilt for safe and smooth roll insertion. A quick-release pin is included for rapid load engagement. It has a 48 in. lift stroke, measured from the center of the shaft.

TPE Telescoping
The TPE Telescoping Workstation is a modified design for handling rolled products and materials and has a 96 in. lift stroke and load capacity of 250 lbs. It is essential for improving access in hard-to-reach locations, such as work areas impeded by low-overhead structures or doorways.

Roll Handling Equipment
Unidex’s roll handling equipment is designed to lift and move heavy rolls of material including plastic, insulation, chain, cable, and paper. It can be used for winding and unwinding, raising a roll to load and unload equipment, and transporting heavy rolls around a facility. Options to customize roll handlers for your application include single or multiple roll holding capacity, telescoping capability, manual and powered core grippers, and overhead support.

Powered mobile lifts are designed to securely hold equipment and supplies while a motor raises them to the desired height. Some lifts can also accommodate personnel. Lift equipment improves ergonomics and worker safety by reducing or eliminating lifting, bending, stretching, and carrying heavy equipment. They can also be used to raise a workstation platform and position work at proper heights to limit physical stress or repetitive motion.

In addition, lifts facilitate lifting heavy equipment or supplies into position for repairs, loading, or unloading. Casters make it easy to transport loads from one area to another, especially in small places where a forklift is not an option.

When selecting a lift, some important considerations include:

• Working Height: Compare the height your application requires to the maximum height of each lift.
• Platform Capacity: Consider the dimensions of the platform as well as its weight capacity – be sure to include the weight of equipment, tools, and personnel the platform will elevate.
• Reach: Consider the horizontal distance you need the equipment to reach.
• Maneuverability: Consider the amount of space in which the lift will be operated, as well as the extent or frequency with which the lift will be moved from one location to another.
• Indoor/Outdoor Use: Determine if your lift will be used only indoors, only outdoors, or both.
